SGA Chosen for MoMA Exhibition

5 Architect-Led Teams To Reimagine American Housing

Date

April 25, 2011

Jeanne Gang has been chosen by the Museum of Modern Art to lead one of five interdisciplinary teams for a special MoMA initiative entitled "Foreclosed: Rehousing the American Dream." Organized by Barry Bergdoll, MoMA’s Philip Johnson Chief Curator of Architecture, with Reinhold Martin, Director of Columbia University’s Temple Hoyne Buell Center for the Study of American Architecture, each team is assigned a "megaregion" through which they will examine new architectural possibilities for American cities and suburbs in the context of the recent foreclosure crisis.

Proposed projects will be exhibited in The Robert Menschel Architecture and Design Gallery, from January 31 through July 31, 2012.

For more information and a list of public events related to the initiative and exhibition, please view the official MoMA press release.
