One of 22 New Honorees in the 2011 Class

Jeanne Gang is one of 22 new honorees in 2011 to join the prestigious group of MacArthur Fellows, which includes many of the greatest scholars, artists, and advocates of our time. Spanning a diverse swath of fields, Fellows are "talented individuals who have shown extraordinary originality and dedication in their creative pursuits and a marked capacity for self-direction." They are selected using tri-part criteria: exceptional creativity, promise for important future advances based on a track record of significant accomplishment, and potential for the fellowship to facilitate subsequent creative work.
